It’s reassuring to see your good blanket after seeing the (lovely) ice on the windows. I used to sit with a hot-water bottle on my tummy when I sat down to write when I lived in flats with no proper heating. I have heating now but hot-water bottles are still one of my favourite things.
Warmth for the eyes, too.
