   For some reason, this looks dark and creepy to me, like a cave where something is hiding. You might be lured in by the vivid colors…but beware!

   What an eye-opener. Apart from the mussels, most of the shells around here intrigue with their shapes and textures, rather than bold colors.
   Of course, the colors in a tide pool are another matter altogether.
