
… while peering into the Charles River.

I think I was tucked at the base of a bridge along the Esplanade trying to photograph fish, and then I thought, why not photograph the patterns forming in and on the water.

I have not been back to the river much at all. We’ll see what happens before this summer’s end.

Amazing what the mind can conjure in these liquid abstracts. Right away I saw a screaming gold phantom head near the right border, then a smaller brown phantom head, also screaming, on the lower left. Is it me or the water? In any case, I love this strange sort of beauty. Didn’t want to make this comment on your blog for fear of changing someone’s perspective on these photos. Beautiful work, as always.
