I love the angle here so much! I had no idea what to expect from the title, and I’m reading a mystery called Red Bones, so I had darker imaginings. Anyway, the flower looks wonderfully “made-up”, like the flower one would paint because it doesn’t exist. But it does! We make flowers so commercial and innocent, and they’re soooo not.
