It was a long walk by the Charles River from Harvard Square and then along Greenough Boulevard. I had set myself a time limit for venturing forth and then I having to turn back. But somehow I always lose track of time as curiosity overwhelms common sense. There’s always one more thing to see around the bend in the road or over the banks of the river. But no matter how much I ache the following day, when I look at the images, its always worth it.

A curious little bird by the Charles River. When I passed it the first time, and even moved in close, it did not fly away. And when I returned along the same path, there it remained ready for its next close up.

The Arts at the Armory Café is located on the first floor of the Armory in Somerville. In addition to tasty food, the café offers visitors art upon its walls. I’m proud to be a participating artist for its Winter Art Show along with Aline Lotter, Casey Stanberry, Eleanor Elkin, Jennifer Weigel, Jessica Dyer, Lauren Jones, Lea Ruscio, Miranda Vitello, Ponnapa Prakkamakul, and Tracie Storie.The exhibit is on display January 6-31 in the Cafe.
