in the garden below
chamomile grows
white petals bright
in the light of the setting sun
spreading profusely
wonderfully
wildly
soon to be cut I’m sure
but not yet

No picture needed – well done.
when I was a child in Italy I loved the fields of chamomile. Walking thru them made the scent arise in the air … thanks for this small memory treasure.
from our garden home
some think us proud
we are made to delight
how can we not
lift our song
as the sun ends the day
we await the dawn
in our garden home
and sing
while we may
beautiful, so beautiful… sometimes words can be a picture, and sometimes pictures can be a poem… Thanks and Love, nia
