My mother used to say I could get lost in a paper bag. I truly have no sense of direction. Compasses are beautiful objects but I can’t use one. If I pay attention I figure out other ways to navigate. But searching for lunch today I didn’t pay attention and so I did become lost and saw some wonderful sights.
I made it back of course, my colleagues, none the wiser. It is not something to be planned but I do look forward to a future lost lunchbreak.

Ah, the Corridor! Now officially an arboretum! Wonderful place.
Wow! It’s a good thing you got lost…;) Your picture of the flower is amazing!
It was a good moment! š
Excellent lunch break! As someone who grew up navigating by “take the red line to Park Street …” or “go to the White Hen Pantry, turn left on Day St. and go to Davis Square, then – you know that place thay used to be the …” — I have a lot of trouble in Seattle where they tell me to “go west on X street for about 5 miles, then …” — problem starts at “west” because 1) that kind of directional direction was hardly ever used with me until I went to college and 2) “west” is away from the ocean … unless you’re on the west coast! š
Beautiful photos and lovely writing/story as always š

Thank you!
