It’s that time of year. Be on the lookout for online coupons. Redbubble currently has a 20-505 off deal. I’ve updated my Redbubble shop. Take a peek when you have a chance and see if you find something interesting. I’m hoping to add photos from recent trip to Amsterdam soon. Until then, enjoy!

I’ve been juggling a lot lately but I want to get back into the swing of things as we move forward into the holiday season. Spent a little time today cleaning up my camera, organizing photos and updating images in one ofย my favorite online shops.
I love the quality of Redbubble’s production of a seemingly ever-expanding range of merchandise. My current personal favorites are the stationery, the acrylic blocks and the spiral notebooks.
Fall is here and there is much beauty to be found in the fleeting light. As I carry my camera into the world (hint, hint … several trips coming up!) I hope to capture images that I can share via this blog and in this online shop. Be sure to check it out on occasion. ๐

playing with paper

My little friend, now 7-years old, visited recently.ย She went to her corner, picked up some blank paper and her basket of crayons.ย As she sat down to draw, she said, “I enjoy playing with paper.”ย I could only reply, “So do I.”ย This year I have been playing with paper in new ways.
Spending time perusing sites like the Library of Congress Prints and National Gallery of Art. Imagining how available imagery might appear on items from a stamp to a sticker to a paper plate.ย It is a new creative outlet, producing products that I hope people enjoy for themselves or as gifts for others of all ages.
My image selections are influenced by the people and events around me.ย In recent weeks I’ve found myself in conversation with cat lovers, musicians and folks who enjoy entertaining others.
The shop where these items can be found is called StationeryWorks because it began with my desire to dress up the letters that I was sending to friends and family.ย It will continue to evolve. I hope you have a chance to check it out. ๐
available now … 6 x 6 food posters

I am not a full-time food photographer or stylist, but I do have fun on occasion with a piece of fruit or a slice of vegetable sitting on a dark plate in the sunlight.ย And if you follow this blog you know how I love my potted herbs.ย I’ve collected some of my favorite food photos into a new Zazzle shop:ย Just Food by Cynthia.
Posters in this store will always be 6 x 6 in size and available for purchase at $9.75.ย Why 6 x 6?
Well, I personally love 6 x 6 frames, like the following, which easily stack on surfaces in the kitchen or can hang, often in a series, on the wall.ย This particular image of a romanesco broccoli was purchased for a gentleman who studies fractals, and loves to eat. ๐
Please visit the store when you can.ย New items to be added at least once a month. Yum! ๐
