A gentle snow falls so that white now covers these colors I saw yesterday at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge.

A quick snapshot while walking through part of Boston’s Southwest Corridor.

In the post light shining through, I pondered what to do with a photo of sunlight shining brightly through the dramatic decorative glass on the doors leading into the sanctuary at Trinity Church. Well, with the aid of a noreaster that left me housebound, inspiration did strike. I hope people like the results. These two items, and other merchandise featuring this original design, can be found at the shop at Trinity Church starting next week.

my wild unruly garden

Each morning begins with a heavy sigh after reading the headlines but then as I peer out the various windows I find peace in my little garden of sprouts and herbs and so forth growing wherever they can catch the light.

I was cleaning up and found a bracelet I made many years ago. A fun, colorful find on a rather gray day as we await the snow in New England. Be safe. Have fun! 🙂

According to Kiya’s owner, DL, she selected the rug before the kitten selected her. Clearly this relationship was meant to be. 🙂

playing with food again

I didn’t intend to photograph this part of dinner but I felt compelled when the late afternoon sun fell upon the bowl.

The salad is composed of garbanzo beans, bell peppers, red onions, marinated artichokes, chopped tomatoes, tossed with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to taste. I almost topped it with the nasturtium bloom but that would have been over the top. 🙂

My only bloom this winter but that’s okay. Spring is coming! 🙂

Very fun to watch this edible herb growing all winter long. And eating it, too! 🙂
